What will you be responsible for?
- Grow our Personal Insurance Book of Business: Implement strategies to grow our book of business via new business, retention & team management.
- New Business: Review internal processes to improve our cross-sell & upsell. Review underwriting rules from insurers to improve quote-to-bind ratios for home and auto insurance. Identify new personal lines insurance products to launch.
- Retention: Review internal processes to improve our renewal rate. Implement new initiatives to nurture and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Team Management: Manage 2 direct reports – a Sales Team Lead and a Service Team Lead. Coach Team Leads to bring the most out of their respective teams. Participate in hiring, training & monitoring of our growing team of 12 insurance brokers and customer service specialists.
- Personal Insurance Expert: Be the go-to person for personal insurance within the company and collaborate with other team members to improve sales & retention.
- Career Growth: After doubling our personal lines insurance book of business, move up in the company as we grow!

Do you have what it takes?
- You’re currently a Personal Insurance Manager or hold a similar leadership position at an insurance brokerage firm
- You have 5+ years of relevant experience in personal lines insurance
- You have a valid AMF and/or RIBO certification
- You have strong oral and written communication skills in English. Oral and written communication skills in French are a plus
- You’re a quick learner with an interest in technology
