If you notice that your monthly payments are more expensive than the quote you received, here’s what you should do.
First, check if your annual premium matches the figure you initially saw in your quote.
If it does, the discrepancy is likely due to your payments being divided into 11 withdrawals instead of 12. To confirm that this is the cause, review the payment schedule sent by the insurance company with your policy documents. Since the premium is divided by 11 instead of 12, it’s natural for each monthly withdrawal to be slightly higher.
