My payment failed due to insufficient funds. What now?

If your payment fails due to insufficient funds, the process of resolving the issue will depend on who your insurance policy is with.

If your policy is with Economical, they will automatically retry the payment within 3 to 10 days. If the 2nd try does not work, the payment will be rescheduled within 30 days and an NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) fee of $25 will be charged. In addition, your financial institution may charge you additional fees for each payment.

If your policy is with Intact, they will send you a letter with another date for the payment plus a $40 NSF fee. In addition, your financial institution may charge you additional fees.

If your policy is with L’Unique, they will automatically retry the payment within 3 to 10 days. If the second try does not work, L’Unique will send you a letter with another date for the payment, and a $35 NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) fee will be charged. In addition, your financial institution may charge you additional fees.

If your policy is with Promutuel, they will send you a letter and an email with another date for the payment, and a $30 NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) fee will be charged. In addition, your financial institution may charge you additional fees.

If you are with another insurance company, email us at contact@youset.ca for further instructions.
