Until you are listed as a registered owner on the vehicle’s registration, you will not be able to purchase car insurance for the vehicle. In the meantime, the current registered owner should get a quote for insurance for the car and add you as an occasional driver.

Once you officially become the owner, you can then submit your request via YouSet’s customer portal. Once it’s received, a member of our team will review your request and work with you to modify the policy accordingly.

  • Go YouSet.ca
  • In the top-right, click “My account”
  • Select “Need help?”
  • Follow the steps that appear on the screen
