How do I add a secondary dwelling (ex. cottage) to my home insurance policy?

If you want to add a secondary dwelling, such as a cottage, to your existing home insurance policy, you will need to submit a request through your YouSet account. Once we receive your request, a member of our team will review it and get in touch to discuss the next steps.

  • Go YouSet.ca
  • In the top-right, click « My Account »
  • Sign in by following the on-screen instructions 
  • Under your insurance policy, select « Modify Policy »
  • Select « Need help? »
  • Follow the steps that appear on the screen
