How do I add a secondary dwelling (ex. cottage) to my home insurance policy?

If you want to add a secondary dwelling, such as a cottage, to your existing YouSet home insurance policy, then you’ll submit a request through YouSet’s customer portal. Once your request is submitted, a member of our team will review it and contact you via email with the next steps. 

  • Go YouSet.ca
  • In the top-right, click “My account”
  • Select “Need help?”
  • Follow the steps that appear on the screen
